You may notice a couple differences to the design of EDANDHEIDI.com. That’s because it has recently come to my attention that we didn’t look right in a few browsers (thanks mr.jerz and others who have let me know). The new design should render correctly, but if anyone is still getting bad reception, let me know.

What do you think of our new digs? I’m so happy I pulled out old George to celebrate with us. New header, new pages, sleeker design, and… oh, would you look at that! A poll. I know- they can tend to seem a little cliche these days, but we promise to give it our signature bizzarro touch. Now you know why the posts have lacked a bit of inspiration as of late- we’ve been far to busy on the updates. Whew. So do yourself a favor: sit back, click on our favorite television personality and explore the new EDANDHEIDI.com. Don’t forget to vote before you leave.

Milestone:
1. [n] stone post at side of a road to show distances
2. [n] a significant event in your life (or in a project)
The phrase “reaching a milestone” comes from the ancient Romans who used round stone columns to mark distance along their roads.
Here at EDANDHEIDI.com we’re in our eleventh week online. It may not serve as a traditional milestone, but I was pretty excited a moment ago when I looked at our original design, and noted how different the site looks now. Of course you know that this is all thanks to our readers- both of you who make all of this possible. Thank you.
Did you notice?
- Last week, one of our posts got a record amount of comments (7)!
- Both my father and my sister have posted comments!
- AND as a grand finale- EDANDHEIDI.com is making connections. Yesterday we had our first oversees post- A guy posted a comment from what looks like Germany. We’re so proud.
- NEW DIRECTIONS button at the top of the page! Having trouble? Just ask for directions!
Once again, thanks.

My pal Jason just updated his site with this really snazzy program called movable type. It looks GREAT. you just cant beat it- I’ve been eyeing that program for good ol’ edandheidi.com, but wanted to wait ‘tll I got the hang of all this web stuff first. Now I have someone to go over the curve in front of me (insert maniacal scheming laugh here).
New house, new website-these are indeed exciting times we live in, my friends. Don’t leave without congratulating Heidi on updating her side!!! Now we both know you’ve wanted to click on the George Jefferson pic- go ahead, indulge yourself.
